Mt. Fitch Prospect

Prior to the commencement of drilling in 2006, an ore resource estimation for the Mt. Fitch uranium deposit was undertaken by independent consultants.

The data from all of Compass' drill holes and, that available from previous explorers drill programs was combined and interpreted to define the geological controls and the boundaries of uranium mineralisation.

None of the data from drilling undertaken by Compass in 2006 has been incorporated.

These Uranium resources are not subject to the HNC joint venture, and are owned by Compass 100% and the results of this preliminary estimation at two separate cut offs is tabulated above.

Drilling is continuing at the prospect and the resource calculation will not be updated until the completion of the 2007 drilling program.
